In a large pot, melt the butter. Add the beef to brown it slightly. Add the onions, garlic and pepper for flavor.
Mix all the spices in a small saucepan. Heat for 2 minutes until fragrant.
Add your beans and cook them on high. After the two minutes, add a cup of tomato sauce and a cup of water.
Shift the setting to “Bean/Chili” mode and put at High Pressure for 30 minutes.
When your pressure cooker is done cooking, you will hear a beeping sound and the float valve will raise.
Serve with sour cream and sprinkle with shredded cheese and cilantro as desired.
